Stratigraphy comments: other than biochronology, there is no particular evidence for the stratigraphic position of this locality relative to the Stewart Spring and Cedar Mountain faunas dates of Evernden et al. 1964: KA 480 - 11.1 (= 11.39) Ma, 25' above micromammals KA 499 - 11.4 (= 11.70) Ma, just below micromammals average is 11.545 Ma these dates are not discussed by Perkins et al. 1998
