Stratigraphy
Formation:Kallholn Shale
Stratigraphic resolution:bed
Stratigraphy comments: STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Kallholn Shale, which directly overlies the Boda Limestone. AGE: Llandovery, on the basis of graptolite biozonation. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Exposed in a 5.5m section. In this succession two generations of stromatactis-bearing mudmounds are preserved with their flank deposits and onlapping shales bearing diverse shelly and grap- tolitic faunas
Lithology and environment

Includes fossils?Y
Lithology description: SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Greenish to brown and black shales. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of facies description and sample preparation techniques.
Environment:marine indet.

Collectors:Maletz
Collection method comments: COLLECTOR: J. Maletz. REPOSITORY: Univer- sity of California Berkeley Museum of Paleontology (UCMP).
Taxonomic list comments:COVERAGE: Exhaustive for radiolaria, but a rich fauna of graptolites, sponge spicules, acritarchs, chitinozoans, and conodonts was found associated with the radiolaria and not reported in this paper. NOMENCLATURE: Authoritative publication, with modern nomenclature and species-resolution identifications.
