Lithology description: bones from "within a thick sequence of buff-white colored, poorly cemented, medium to coarse-grained, tabular cross-bedded sandstone near the top of the Cabao Formation (~17 m below the unconformable contact with the Chicla Formation). The associated bones were preserved in a ~3 m wide lens of pebbly sandstone and vertebrate fossil clasts that we interpret as a channel deposit." | |
