Collection method comments: Ronzon is in fact a group of quarries located South from Le Puy, Auvergne.
Tetracus nanus and Amphicynodon velaunus type specimens are in the MNHN. Ronzon is the type locality for Eomys antiquus, Entelodon magnus (lectotype MNHN), Ronzotherium velanum (Lectotype Crozatier Museum, Le Puy-en-Velay).
Original collection from Aymard is stored in the Crozatier Museum (Le Puy-en-Velay).
