• The Upper Devonian Coffee Hill Member of the Catombal Range, west of Orange in New South Wales, contains a large and diverse microfauna that includes teeth of crossopterygians, numerous chondrichthyans and many small dipnoan tooth plates, as well as scales of palaeoniscoids and acanthodians, possible placoderm bones and the remains of phyllocarids, conodonts, brachiopods, bryozoa and ostracodes (Jones and Turner, 2000).
