• Middle to upper part of the Los Molles Fm: 400m thick interval characterised by a monotonous succession of black shales, with calcareous concretions and intercalations of tabular tuff and tuffaceous sand beds. Associated with the ammonites: Choffatia cf. subbakeriae, Choffatia cf. suborion and Choffatia? sp.,
