• An earliest Triassic age is inferred for the Blina Shale on the basis of correlation to the Kockatea Shale, which is dated using microfossil remains as well as ammonites Ophiceras cf. subkyoticum and Subinyoites kashmiricus (Cosgriff 1965)

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
