AGE: Tortonian; constrained by biostratigraphy of multiple groups (foraminifera, nannoplankton); direct date extrapolated from Sr dating (Hendy, unpublished). STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Probably from top of middle member (enterer's opinion).
