Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified, gray floatstone

• At the Top of the succession, the Paleogene Trentinara Fm. cuts paraconformably the Upper Cretaceous succession.
• The succession (about 80 m thick) shows dark grey, well stratified limestone, partly laminated. Radiolitid shell concentrations are observable.
