Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; lithified reef rocks

• The section is situated in the southern part of the El Jadida-Agadir basin, delimited to the north by the Jbilet Massif, to the east by the Paleozoic Massifs of the High Atlas, to the south by the Souss Plain, and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean.
• 10-20 cm-thick bioclastic subunit, rich in echinoderms.
