Also known as Southeast quarter of northwest quarter of section 15, on branch of Salt Creek, township 18 south, range 14 east (Coalinga quadrangle), Mount Diablo base line and meridian

Where: Fresno County, California (36.4° N, 120.4° W: paleocoordinates 36.6° N, 107.2° W)

When: Tejon Formation, Middle Eocene (48.6 - 37.2 Ma)

• R. dickersoni: near base of Tejon group, 75 to 100 feet above the chocolate shale of probable Chico age, in a glauconitic sandstone stratum in clay shale.

Environment/lithology: marine; glauconitic sandstone and shale
