Environment/lithology: marine; silty, conglomeratic sandstone and limestone

• Talus, probably mostly from beds 11 to 14 of Martin (1926, p. 142; see also Imlay, 1964, p. B23, loc. 22)

•11. Dark limestone with abundant fossils, Sphaeroceras cepoides, Pleuromya, etc. (lots 2997 and 10516) 2-4 ft

•12. Dark shale 3 ft

•13. Dark conglomerate rock (arkose) 7 ft

•14. Dark shale with conglomerate bands and with fossils (lot 2998) 26 ft

•From Imlay, 1964:

•Fitz Creek Siltstone. From silty sandstone 150 ft below top. Same as unit 19 of section by Stanton and Martin.
