• Given as Aptian-Albian? Balei series, but later papers give Hauterivian Gluskovo Formation.

Environment/lithology: lacustrine - small; lithified lithology not reported

• Unda was a typical Mesozoic lake of type "A" according to Sinitshenkova and Zherikhin (1996), a deep mountain lake formed when a river valley was naturally dammed. It was a cold oligotrophic water body with low primary production and ample oxygen.
