When: Silurian (443.8 - 419.2 Ma)

• Donovan argues this is probably from either Llandovery or Wenlock strata

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, fine-grained, micaceous sandstone

• fine-grained, finely laminated, micaceous sandstone containing no other fossils.

Size class: macrofossils

• circlet of spiny plates from near the apex of the anal series.

Preservation: mold/impression
