Environment/lithology: transition zone or lower shoreface; lithified siliciclastic sediments

• Old Pera beds were deposited under storm conditions, as indicated by the presence of amalgamated sandstonebeds and fossils preserved in unusual orientations, such as vertical sand dollars
• The Old Pera beds are a siliciclastic unit
