• Conodont stratigraphy on basis of geological context not co-occurring conodont specimens.

Environment/lithology: marine; poorly lithified, nodular shale and lithified, nodular, argillaceous limestone

• biohermal lenses in upper part of formation
• Jemelle Formation is characterized by thick shale beds with carbonate nodules and limestone lenses with intercalations of thin-bedded or nodular, argillaceous or crinoidal limestone.
