Environment/lithology: dolomitic limestone

• Thin lower unit dominated by mottled dolomitic limestone and an upper unite composed of stylonodular fossiliferous limestone. The limestone in the lower unit is medium dark gray to dark gray, thick bedded to massive, micritic (skeletal wackestone), and contains abundant irregular mottled areas composed of light-greenish-gray, finely crystaline dolomite and dolomitic limestone.

•This grades upward into dark-gray, thick-bedded, fossiliferous dolomitic limestone (skeletal wackestone) characterized by well-developed stylonodular laminae.

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: replaced with silica
