When: Ypresian (56.0 - 47.8 Ma)

• Larger foram fauna contains Nummulites bolcensis and N. spileccensis, correlating to benthic zone SBZ7 or lower Ypresian, in good agreement with the nannoplankton zone NP 10 and the planktonic foraminifera zone P 5. Orthophragminid fauna is a key association for OZ3 zone, also lower Ypresian.
