• Planktonic forams indicate upper Ypresian biozones E6 and E7 of Berggren and Pearson (2005)

Environment/lithology: coastal; marl and limestone

• interpreted as nearshore
• marls and limestone covering deeper layers of alternating biomicritic limestone and marls. Small layers of chert and grains of phosphate are frequently interfingered. Specimens preserved in a concretion.
