When: Addy Quartzite Formation, Early/Lower Cambrian (538.8 - 509.0 Ma)
• A short distance north the Addy quartzite is overlain by the old Dominion limestone; It is the writer's opinion that the Gypsy quartzite is equivalent in age to the Addy quartzite, and that the lower portion of the Maitlen phyllite is equivalent in age to the Old Dominion lime- stone.
