Environment/lithology: marine; claystone and ooidal, gray, green, argillaceous limestone

• "Here the Sillaoru Formation is about 70 cm thick. It consists of calcareous clay with highly argillaceous limestone with numerous iron ooliths. The carbonates are heavily bioturbated, penetrated often by Skolithos burrows together with Trypanites type borings. The Nikolskoe Member, which starts with a purple phosphatized hardground surface, the iron ooliths are minute and the limestone, more greenish grey. It is about 55 cm thick", in Rasmussen & Harper (2008)
