• In Belgium the Tertiary of the Leval-Trahegnies quarry exposes the upper 'continental' Landenian which is placed in the Tienen Formation and is within the currently debated Palaeocene/Eocene interval. This collection is from the same locality as 1682-1 (PBDB 34456).

Collection methods: The authors say that the specimens of Minerisporites mirabilissimus are difficult to relate to figures. This locality has salviniaceous massulae (Triletes? exiguus); more than 20 + 1 large and 3 small masses. This collection contains specimens figured by Dijkstra, 1961.
