• coordinate based on unpublished field data

• small collection-level geographic resolution

When: Giron Group, Jurassic to Jurassic (201.3 - 113.0 Ma)

• no formation given. Sediments can only be constrained as "pre-upper Aptian" and probably no older than Jurassic. UCMP site lists this as Late Triassic, but this cannot be confirmed. Ref 23520 lists formation as "Giron" although this is now a group.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; coarse-grained, pebbly, sandy, calcareous conglomerate

• "apparently nonmarine sequence"
• "coarse conglomerate comprised of well-rounded quartzite pebbles in a clacareous sandstone matrix... [rest of sequence are] predominately olive-green to brown clastic sediments which carry a few thin limey lenses. Occasional bits of petrified wood were encountered in these sediments."
