• Csarnotian stage, Mid. Pliocene, MN15 (according to Fejfar et al., 1997). Janossy puts it slightly later (in the Villanyian). Villafranchian.

Environment/lithology: karst

• 'red clay.'

• This is a reconstructed faunal list, including several collections excavated from 1910 onwards. The original site lists (1910-1930s) do not give exact locality info., but the later excavations uncovered 25 strata in a trench 1m x 1.5m and 3m deep.
