Where: Poland (50.8° N, 21.1° E: paleocoordinates 15.9° S, 28.1° E)

• coordinate based on political unit

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Early/Lower Famennian (376.1 - 370.6 Ma)

• Beds from about 12 to about 22 m in section. Pa. triangularis conodont zone, covering E. (E.) splendens/E. (E.) sigmoidale interregnum, and E. (E.) sigmoidale Zone.

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; marl and shale

• Sequence is interpreted by author as "deep intrashelf basin (outer part of the epicontinental sea), which was situated on the SE edge of the Laurussian palaeocontinent in a subtropical belt..."
• [According to section diagram, "marly limestones and shales" are predominant, with some shale beds.] "The sequence consists of rhythmically bedded, commonly black and laminated marly limestones and shales..."
