• Regressive phase followed by transgressive
• "fine silt-sized grains, clay-sized particles in cutans of a weakley-modified soil, and fine sand. This is underlain by white laminated to massive diatomaceous siltstone" (Potts 1994)

•"yellow-brown to buff-white, rootmarked siltstone, typically 10-20cm thick ranging up to 120cm thick" (Potts 1999)
