• From the same limestone as Phacops rana africanus but at a point where it is less silty.

• USNM locality is 4 miles south of the junction of Oued Ratmia and Oued Ain Terguet, about 1 mile west of Oued Ratmia, south-west Tindouf Basin. Material from the shales of Wernoceras Limestone.
