• "...two units are readily distinguished in the field. the lower unit, the proper 'Calcaires marneux d'Agroud Oudar' of Duffad et al (1966) is composed of wavy to nodular limestones densely interbedded with sandy marl. the upper unit is a heterogeneous succession of sandy marls containing scattered beds of limestone and quartz sandstone with its lower part and laterally persistent beds of strong bioturbated heterolithic sandstone further up-section."
