Environment/lithology: offshore shelf; fine-grained, dolomitic, gray, cherty/siliceous limestone

• 1-2 foot-thick medium-gray weathering, fretted, fine-grained limestone. Nodular chert is noticeably reduced but secondary quartz is important in preserving the abundant fossils. Dolomite is also abundant, filling the shells.
