Environment/lithology: marine; concretionary, pebbly, pyritic, silty, carbonaceous claystone and bioturbated, blue claystone

• primarily clay and silty clay, some nodular and pebbly horizons, some pyritized material, lots of wood fragments. Unit 4 is a blue, hard clay, with some bioturbation

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: concretion, replaced with pyrite
