Where: Western Australia, Australia (18.3° S, 126.1° E: paleocoordinates 19.1° S, 127.1° E)

• coordinate stated in text

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Pillara Formation, Frasnian (382.7 - 372.2 Ma)

• Frasnian

• formation-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; reef rocks and peloidal grainstone

• Within context of larger reef complex. Interpreted in ref. 10549 as platform facies.
• Ref. 10549: The Pillara Limestone is the platform facies...The frame-built parts (reef) were constructed mainly by stromatoporoids, corals, and cyanobacteria. The back-reef and bank subfacies consist largely of stromatoporoid biostromes...with coral biostromes, fenestral limestone, peloid calcarenite, oolite, and some sandstone."
