• This is bed 10 from stratigraphic interval II.

•Conodonts indicating Famennian age are from fissure fills. The reef limestones are of Famennian age (Joachimski pers. comm 2004 and Babek et al. 2007)

Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; intraclastic, shelly/skeletal grainstone

• 'shallow carbonate ramp with abundant reef dwelling fauna...have the character of reef banks.' 'northern margin of Devonian back-arc or related basins'
• 'inhomogeneous layer with intraclasts of darker micritic limestones and plasticlastics of biosparite with well sorted grains. The layer is breccia like, which is supported diagenetically by a partial dissolution of carbonate in the matrix.'
