• Considered to be "Chhidruan" (i.e. immediately post-Kazanian) in age

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, shelly/skeletal lime mudstone

• Fine-grained, light-grey, recrystallised biomicrite with patches of creamy-white, coarse, sparry calcite (crystals up to 0.75 cm long). Some of the sparry calcite is related to crinoid debris. Secondary calcite veins and stylolites are common.
