When: Vallesian (11.6 - 8.7 Ma)

• Miocene, MN9-10. There are 5 levels with fossil remains, level X is the highest in the section (approximately 100m above level Y3).

Environment/lithology: alluvial fan

• A pond system with a little alluvial fan in which most of the bones have been found.
• 'Microconglomerado de gravas y arenas de cuarzo que rellena el micropaleorrelieve carstico anterior. Presenta cambios laterales a limos y arcillas verdes laminates y arcillas marron-negruzcas ricas en materia organica. Las zonas conglomeratidos estan cementadas por cabonatos hojosos muy porosos y blanquecinos, posiblemente edaficos. Aparecen algunos cantos blandos y huesos muy dispersos. Potencia variable de 10 a 40 centimetros. Excepto en 'X-fisura', donde la potenci es algo mayor.'P. 349.
