Environment/lithology: marine; poorly lithified, fine, concretionary, shelly/skeletal, gray, red, silty sandstone and unlithified marl

• resistant, olive-gray, weathering to grayish-red or very dusky red, massive to poorly bedded, richly fossiliferous, marly, silty, very fine-grained glauconite arenite and maril containing layers of rolled fossils, especially near the top; large hard, dark greenish-gray, irregular, argillaceous, sideritic, calcareous concretions are found loosely spaced in the middle and crowded hear the top to form a continuous clay-ironstone layer
