• Exotic block, stratigraphic position unknown. Palmarito Fm contains Perrinites hilli and Parafusulina of Kungurian age.

Environment/lithology: deep subtidal shelf; shelly/skeletal, black, gray, silty wackestone

• Soft-substrate bottom, with little relief, below wave base in warm water, perhaps restricted from ready access to open ocean conditions. Bioturbation, if present, was extensive, as bedding was completely homogenized.
• Dense, dark gray to black, petroliferous silty limestone. Compositionally a biomicrite, with dolomite rhombs; texturally a wackestone.
