• Sandstone section disconformably overlies thin-bedded gray siltstones and is truncated above by a fault. Paleontological data suggests a pre-Miocene age.

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, shelly/skeletal sandstone and poorly lithified, fine-grained sandstone

• Alternating beds of indurating bioclastic sandstone and softer, finer-grained sandstone.
