Taxonomy
Placuna (Indoplacuna) birmanica was named by Vredenburg (1924) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene; Myanmar.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mindegyi (Singu stage), which is in a Chattian marine horizon in the Singu Formation of Myanmar.
