Cope 2004Eritropids with short but widening anterior hinge plate, supported below by anterior internal ridge, which is fused with thickened anterior myophoric buttress; isomyarian, posterior adductor muscle scar also well deĀ®ned and with weaker myophoric buttress; anterior teeth large, two in each valve; posterior teeth small, subequal, about ten, no dental elongation of Eritropis-type, arranged along the nearly straight hinge line; no strong posterior umbonal rib.
