Pecten (Pecten) sanctaecruzensis was named by Arnold (1906) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Oligocene; Pacific Coast, North America.]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Oppenheimopecten sanctaecruzensis by Moore (1984).
