Heterocricetodon landroveri
Taxonomy
Heterocricetodon landroveri was named by Daams et al. (1989). Its type specimen is MNCN PAJ 583, a tooth (left M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pareja, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial marl/sandstone in the Lower Detrital Formation of Spain.
It was recombined as Allocricetodon landroveri by Freudenthal (1994).
