Scalenodontoides macrodontes
Taxonomy
Scalenodontoides macrodontes was named by Crompton and Ellenberger (1957). Its type specimen is MNHN 1957-23, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Morobong Hill, which is in a Norian/Rhaetian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho. It is the type species of Scalenodontoides.
