Dyoplax arenaceus
Taxonomy
Dyoplax arenaceus was named by Fraas (1867). Its type specimen is SMNS 4760, a skeleton, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Sonnenberg, which is in a Carnian lacustrine horizon in the Weser Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Dyoplax.
