Pycnophlebia robusta
Taxonomy
Pycnophlebia robusta was named by Zeuner (1939). Its type specimen is Munich Pal. Museum 245, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Solnhofen (BSPGM Munich coll), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
