Taxonomy
Liassochorista kenderlykensis was named by Novokshonov (1997). Its type specimen is PIN 2497/251, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kenderlyk, Akkolka River (PIN collection 2497), which is in a Norian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Tologoi Formation of Kazakhstan.
