Microscleromys cribriphilus

Taxonomy
Microscleromys cribriphilus was named by Walton (1990) [Etymology: cribriphilus (latin): attached to screens or sieves; because this rodent is so far only known from isolated teeth recovered from screenwashing ]. Its type specimen is IGM-DU 88-672 , a tooth (Lower right premolar), and it is a 3D body fossil.

Incomplete connection of metalophid with ectolophid in p4 (mesolophid absent) Mesoflexid-hypoflexid jucture wide, deep. p4 lophid development variable, midline variations common. p4 short with relatively straight posterolophid. Mesocone present on DP4.
