Anthracosiro fritschii

Taxonomy
Anthracosiro fritschii was named by Pocock (1903). Its type specimen is BMNH I.1556, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Coseley, near Dudley (Johnson coll), which is in a Westphalian B interdistributary bay shale in the United Kingdom.

It was corrected as Anthracosiro fritschi by Fritsch (1904), Petrunkevitch (1949) and Petrunkevitch (1953).
