Cretaesalus ponomarenkoi

Taxonomy
Cretaesalus ponomarenkoi was named by Nikolajev (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 2383/307, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kzyl-Zhar Locality (PIN collection 2383), which is in a Turonian pond mudstone in Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Cretaesalus.
