Archaeacarus dubinini
Taxonomy
Archaeacarus dubinini was named by Kethley and Norton (1989). Its type specimen is FMNH Z-17-806, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SUNY-B 411 Blenheim-Gilboa Power plant, which is in a Givetian marine sandstone in the Panther Mountain Formation of New York. It is the type species of Archaeacarus.
