Phasianus americanus

Taxonomy
Phasianus americanus was named by Shufeldt (1915). Its type specimen is YPM 956, a set of limb elements (tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was replaced with Phasianus roberti by Stone (1915).
